14-year-old Palestinian boy and two others killed
Three Palestinians, including two teens aged 14 and 18, were killed by Israeli military fire during clashes along the border fence in central and eastern Gaza, the Strip’s Health Ministry said today.
The ministry identified the 14-year-old boy as Mohammad Naif Al-Houm and said he was shot in the chest near Al-Bureij refugee camp. The 18-year old was identifed as Iyad Khalil Ahmad Ashar.
A total of 190 Palestinians have been injured in the clashes, the ministry said, 47 of whom by Israeli fire. According to the ministry, an 11-year-old Palestinian boy was seriously injured in clashes near Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The ministry named him as Yosef Abu Zarifa.
Just another Friday under Israeli occupation.

What it is with the people of Gaza is their right of return to their homes in villages and towns in Israel which were taken from them when the state of Israel was founded in 1948. The new Jewish state was ethnically cleansed of most Muslims who became refugees in Gaza and the West Bank (Nakba). They and their descendants want to return home. Many old men and women in Gaza still have the door keys to their homes in Israel. The weekly demonstrations at the fence demand this right of return home which is recognized in international law.October 16, 2018 at 03:12 #2895
Israeli ‘Border’ Policewoman finally arrested for joking about shooting Palestinian in the back last year
The Israeli Police Internal Investigations Department yesterday arrested a Border Police officer suspected of shooting into the back of a Palestinian man “for fun” in the Occupied West Bank in last May along with some of her comrades.
The policewoman, aged about 20, was said to have opened fire at the A’Zaim checkpoint without any operational reason, causing the man significant injury.
This incident happened 17 months ago and nothing more would have been heard of it but for the boasting of the policewoman in text messages to friends and a video from he phone. If she and her comrades are found to have violated the standards of the ‘Border’ Police, they will be dismissed. Big deal!
The video from the policewoman’s phone has vanished but below you can see the ‘Border’ Police in action last December when they attempted to arrest four small boys in the Occupied West Bank.

Palestinian Killed as Israeli Military drops Multiple Bombs in Gaza
As reported three days ago, the threatened wider massacre of Palestinians seems to have begun.
“The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said one Palestinian, identified as Naji Jamal Mohammad Za’anin, 25, was killed when the Israeli missiles struck a site in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza. The Palestinian was from Beit Hanoun, also in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli airforce dropped bombs in several parts of Gaza Wednesday morning, wounding 14 Palestinians in addition to killing Za’anin, including six schoolchildren, in Deir al-Balah city, in central Gaza, before they were rushed to the Al-Aqsa Hospital.”
It is worth noting that the bombs were dropped on Gaza after unknown Palestinians fired a “rocket” into Israel this morning, causing no injuries. Conveniently for the Israelis, their government claims that Hamas is held responsible for all actions aimed at Israel by anyone in Gaza. This narrative will be repeated by the western (American and English) press.
Readers will search in vain for the name of Naji Jamal Mohammad Za’anin in The New York Post or The Daily Mail.October 17, 2018 at 08:24 #2965

Israeli human rights activist Hagai El-Ad called for the international community to take action against Israeli “apartheid” Thursday in his first official testimony in front of the United Nations Security Council about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and members of his party have publicly lashed out against El-Ad over his comments. This is Part 2 of our conversation with El-Ad, executive director of the human rights group B’Tselem, in our New York studio. See Part 1 of the discussion here.

The death cult practiced by Gazans continues, almost nonstop since 1948 is turning Gaza into a failed state before it is even a state.
These have to be the stupidest people on earth repeatedly to go up against the IDF at the border? Get a clue and stop this shit. Try to build a viable economy for your fellow citizens instead. Your tactics of terror attacks, then peace only as long as it to rearm, then a resumption of the suicidal intifada – that has never worked and it never will.
If your life is so shitty that you want to die thinking that Allah will give you 40 ghost twats to play with you are even more deluded than the ISIS and Taliban fools combined.
The worst part of it is the money that civilized cultures have wasted by sending it the Palestinians. The West must stop this insanity as long as the overflow human garbage leaving Gaza still shows up as useless beggars in Europe.
Let the rich Muslim nations provide the support for once. Let them feed and house their fellow Muslim “refugees” for once. Stop making more babies that you can’t afford to raise properly.

Gee Mark, if the civil rights activists of the 50s and 60s had had that attitude we would still have Jim Crow laws. Of course you would like that but no one with any respect for their fellow man would.

Gaza on fire: At least 130 Palestinians are shot as protesters storm the Israeli border, ripping down barbed wire and launching bomb-laden balloons
Thousands of Palestinians massed along the Gaza perimeter fence on Friday in the latest anti-Israel protest
They launched flaming kites and incendiary balloons in what Gaza’s Hamas rulers called a ‘challenge to Israel’
It comes in spite of Egypt’s efforts to reach a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel after months of protests

Palestinian protesters launched flaming kites and incendiary balloons towards Israel today in a fresh outbreak of violence in Gaza which left 130 people injured.
Thousands of Palestinians massed along the border on Friday in a protest co-ordinated by Hamas which saw some demonstrators breach the perimeter fence.
It came in spite of Egypt’s efforts to reach a lasting cease-fire between the territory’s militant Hamas rulers and Israel.
Hamas praised the turnout as a challenge to Israel, which was mulling a large-scale military response after a rocket was fired from Gaza on Wednesday and destroyed a house in southern Israel.
Gaza’s Health Ministry reported at least 130 Palestinians were wounded by Israeli fire on Friday and six of them were in serious condition.
‘The Israeli enemy’s threats have effectively motivated the crowds to participate powerfully in the protest,’ said Fawzi Barhoum, a spokesman for Hamas, which has staged the protests since March.
Hamas has said the weekly protests will continue until there is an easing of the Egyptian-Israeli blockade of the Palestinian enclave.
The large attendance was a test to Egypt’s efforts to push Hamas into scaling down the protests and rein in marchers who venture out to the fence and breach it, triggering deadly Israeli fire.
At least 156 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire since the protests began more than six months ago, and an Israeli soldier was killed by a Palestinian sniper.

Israel should facwe severe and crippling economic sanctions for their savagery and out of control crimes against humanity.
What pleasure do Netanyahu, MBS and their enabler Trump must get out of murdering young innocent people protesting for basic human rights?

Four Palestinians killed and 170 wounded today
It is indeed an utter disgrace to see the armed IDF and Israeli “Border” Police beat women and unarmed Palestinian men and adolescents day after day, month after month, and year after year. Meanwhile, the American media are wall-to-wall coverage of the Florida Trump supporter who mailed home-made explosive devices to those criticized by the American president.
Israeli forces have fired live bullets and rubber-coated steel rounds at Palestinians protesting along the fence of Israel, killing at least five of them and wounding a further 170, according to medical officials today.
The death and injury toll was provided by Ashraf al-Qifra, spokesperson for the health ministry in Gaza.
The five people killed were identified as Ayesh Sha’th, 23, Saeed Abu Lebdeh, 22, Nassar Abu Taym, 23 and Mohammad Abdul-Nabi, 27 and Jabir Abu Hameesa, 27. One accidentally by his own hand. “Since the protests began on March 30, Israeli forces have killed at least 210 Palestinians in the besieged coastal enclave and wounded more than 18,000 people, according to health officials in Gaza.”
In response, some harmless “rockets” were fired from Gaza into Israel, hitting nothing and injuring nobody. The death toll of Palestinians has increased and it is long past the time when Israel should be shunned by the civilized world.

3 boys killed by IDF today
Palestinian medics say three boys aged 12 to 14 have been killed in an Israeli airstrike in the south-eastern Gaza Strip.
Ashraf al-Kidra of the health ministry said ambulance crews were bringing the children’s bodies to a hospital from the perimeter fence dividing Gaza and Israel.
The Israeli army said an aircraft hit three Palestinians who approached the security fence on Sunday “and were apparently involved in placing” an explosive device on to it.
Three small boys apparently involved in placing an explosive device??? How are the Palestinian families expected to take this incessant murderous persecution? What path of resistance is left for the oppressed Palestinians, it must be asked.October 28, 2018 at 14:57 #3629

Hamas stirring up shit again. The idiots fire off rockets into Israel.
Why do they do stuff like this when they know Israel will strike back? What is this sick death wish they have that invariably kills innocent Gazans along with the responsible militants?

Israel has been killing Palestinian children everyday for protesting for their rights. Just because they don’t report on American news media does not mean it is not happening.
It is Israel which always does shit. Palestinians only react. I doubt there were any rockets fired. Netanyahu lies like Trump. It was just an excuse for IDF to kill more Palestinians.
The civilized world should unite together against Saudi Arabia and Israel, and strip them off military power to stop their carnage against innocent civilians.

The concept of Palestine has steadily evolved from one that demands recognition of land and the right of return, to one that has become a symbol of freedom for the marginalized everywhere. ‘Free Palestine’ is a slogan that is deeply connected to web of other oppressions around the globe, including that against the Rohingya and the people of Darfur in Sudan.
‘Free Palestine’ is then as much about a global consciousness as it is a specific claim to land, and support for Palestinians seems to be getting more popular in places like Europe. But inside the Palestinian territories of the West Bank ruled by the Palestinian Authority and Gaza ruled by Hamas, Palestinian governance is one defined by oppression, violence and intimidation.
Journalists are arrested, dissidents are tortured. Some are even killed. Critics are targeted, and the PA’s special security relationship with Israel means that Palestinians fear both the PA’s own security forces in addition to Israel’s.
In other words, the PA and Hamas don’t seem to govern with any of the values that make up the vision of a “Free Palestine” and regularly rank among the most corrupt in the world.
Why is this?
Why is the schism between Palestine as a symbol and Palestinian government so stark?
To try to answer this question, Al Bawaba spoke with Nadia Hijab who is the co-founder of
thinkers to the rest of the world. Hijab is one of the most influential Palestinian analysts alive today, and she’s part of a embattled Palestinian civil society struggling to survive.
