Masks:

Surgical Masks are worn to prevent spread of infections from surgical staff to patients that they are attending. They will not protect the wearer from infection. Especially a viral infection because the size of a virus particle can be drawn right through the mask while the wearer is breathing. So don’t bother getting any to protect yourself from the COVID 19 infection.

You need at least an N-95 mask. And a new one every time you go out. Plus when taking it off do not touch the mask. Take it off only by touching the straps that go around you head.

Good luck in the epidemic that is on its way to the U.S.
